Hämäläis-Osakunta is funded by the Häme Student Foundation (Hämäläisten ylioppilassäätiö), which also offers student housing for members of Hämäläis-Osakunta. The level of rent at the foundation's hundreds of student apartments are student-affordable, and the housing is located in very convenient areas for students: in Koskela, Patola, Puistola and Vallila.

Members can apply for housing through a continuous application process all year round. Apartment selection includes shared flats, studios and family flats (two or three rooms). Apartments can also be let out for cohabitation or for friends or just for the summer months.

The housing caters primarily for students of the University of Helsinki. When applying for a family flat, at least one of the applicants is required to be a (full) member of Hämäläis-Osakunta. Shared flats can also be let out to associate members. Every July, a freshmen application period (fuksihaku) will be set up. One can take part in this application process already before his/her right to study has been confirmed.
